Dr. Khrabrov is the Director of Open-Source Science at IBM Research. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and was an engineer and founder in several Bay Area startups,  researcher at Dartmouth, NEC and Penn, and Chief Scientist at Nitro, the document company.  Alexy founded and runs Bay.Area.AI meetup and Scale By the Bay conference, held for the tenth year in November.
